We had the privilege to put together another great children’s installation for the National Centre for Creative Learning at the Sydney MCA, this time to accompany the colourful Grayson Perry exhibit. We worked with the MCA’s Alex White again to come up with an installation where kids were able to have their drawings scanned, animated and projection mapped onto vases in a virtual artist’s studio – just like Greyson Perry’s!
Having the drawing space next to the interactive installation helped to move hundreds of kids through. And the moderation interface for staff enabled them to veto any artworks that were a little ‘too’ inspired by some of Grayson’s more risque works.
